a new day starts with a new page in life.

there are just so many "maybe"(s), "perhaps", "might"(s) in my life right now

maybe i haven't yet discover my true meaning in life (except for being a devout muslimah of course-and that alone actually means a whole new universe)

perhaps i haven't really found my niche or a place to call home. A home can be a state of mind, a concrete place where you feel safe and protected, a person you can go back to when you feel lost.

i'm still trying to enjoy every little piece of this world. a brief, temporary world, somehow.

in my mind a few hours ago, i thought to myself. what if i never own a car. why do i need to own one? i don't need a car to move around. i'm perfectly fine with public transportation and their annoying tantrums. i don't need a car to show that i'm capable of affording one. i don't need a car because i don't feel rushed, not in a hurry, not even in a race. i can walk with my two feet and sip in every polluted breath now and then. (this is what i want. to not feel dependent on something, and be content with what i'm already given.)

nowadays i feel calmer. i don't need to constantly follow my feelings and get lost together. i'm the captain. i lead and steer where my feelings should go. all i need is a guidance and that, i can find in God.

this is what i want to do right now. feel good waking up everyday. do the usual routine of a student and find enjoyment within. try something new and not be afraid of failing. cos you'll never know what will happen unless you try and try and try. no one experience is the same as another. lets not worry about worldly things like money, possessions, and trends. everything fades away silently, and you definitely don't want to fade away too along with everything else. say "this is me, i am here, how will i fill my day today" do what you want, without worrying about regrets. a new day (maybe/might/perhaps) starts with a new page in life. are you ready to start it?

and you know what. today i find peace in the picture of my 2 year-old niece smiling happily while playing on a swing. a simple but such poignant revelation. every worry and every knots in my head slowly dissipated. and i smile so hard, the world around me fell silent for a moment. :)
