after all they have sacrificed. after all the money they have spent on us. recently, i heard that the amount of money that is used to bring up a child can be up to half a million dollars. that's only for one. what if there's more?
when i was younger, i loved watching Mercedes Benz. maybe its because i don't really know any other brands, except proton, which i can get confused with,too. and when the first time i saw an E200 on the road, i instantly love the design and the headlights that looked like the eyes of a grasshopper. so one day, i said to my parents, when i grow up, i'll get them this car.
now, i'm almost 22, and still having 2.5 years in school, and my parents are reaching their 60's soon. now, i'm not sure if they want the car anymore. they already have their own cars, their own house, their own assets. and its time for them to relax and enjoy their moments after years of toiling. maybe, when i'm already working, i should get them a private chauffeur, but i think they would prefer going out with their own children. i don't think they would want another car or house. 'cause they don't need it. they're perfectly content with what they've already achieved. maybe i can sponsor their Hajj and Umrah trips. yes, that would do. you know what, i will ask them what they personally want. even though somehow i feel that they would say they don't need anything. parents, they always give give give, but expects very little from us. that's love. <3 love your parents.
p/s: coming up is Mother's day on 8th May! wish them, make them feel special :)
